Our story
A free August Bank Holiday weekend of live entertainment, riverside atmosphere and an excuse to bring out the blue-and-white bunting.
The festival
The first Lower Lode Inn Oktoberfest took place over the August Bank Holiday in 2025. The marquee was dressed in Bavarian blue and white, the DJ booth lit up, and visitors danced into the evening.
The festival returns from 28–30 August 2026 for edition 2. Admission remains free, day visitors are welcome, and visitors can book camping or one of the inn’s rooms to make a full weekend of it.
